Description
Edam Exer 1/8 Scale Nitro RTR On-Road 4WD RC Car.

With an approximate top speed of 80mph, the Exer is designed to be the fastest, best-handling ready-to-run car of any scale. Borrowing technology from its brother, the Exer, it doesn't skimp on features. Only a few parts are changed to make the car more affordable for the parking lot racer in all of us. The engine is started with a Hand-pull starter . If you want to go racing, all parts are fully upgradeable to Exer specifications.

The EDAM Exer comes with hardened steel quick-change axles, grooved rubber tyres and threaded aluminum shocks allow for fine tuning of pre-load.
The rear suspension is a proven pivot ball design with floating rear body mount to directly transfer the down force to the rear axles without compressing the suspension and affecting cornering performance. Just like with full size GP cars, the faster you drive the more grip you get!
The chassis is made of machined 6061 aluminum which not only provides a firm backbone to the car but also aids cooling of the engine.
The engine itself is a .25 (2.1hp) unit and revs to 30000 RPM, with a 3 shoe clutch and lightened flywheel, along with a 6061 machined aluminum clutch bell that’s usually an upgrade on other cars.
The Three-shoe clutch transfers power from the engine to the driveline through a 2 speed gearbox with an adjustable first to second change point.
Starting is achieved by the tried and trusted pull start system seen on the majority of RTR cars.
The engine heatsink head and crankcase are painted black to aid cooling and the whole thing is held securely to the chassis by 6 screws to spread the load and resist and torque reaction creating twist that would affect the gear mesh.
The 4WD belt system is robust and has a tension roller to ensure the teeth stay in the pulley groves under hard acceleration.
The Exer comes with a branded Futaba AM 27MHZ transmitter and also Futaba receiver and servos. You can adjust the steering rate, end points and trims from the transmitter.
The body shell is a Le Mans style GT1 and is available separately in a variety of colours.

All Models are electronically and physically tested before dispatch for your and our piece of mind. A test report is included with every model sold.
